We feel good when our efforts are appreciated and rewarded. On 15 Feb. 2019, Children were given certificates of different competitions organised during the session 2018-19.
Basant Panchami is a festival that marks the arrival of the spring season with lots of hues spread everywhere in nature. This day is considered to be very auspicious day as the devotees worship Goddess Saraswati who is said to be the deity of knowledge, music, art, science and technology. To imbibe and nurture this spirit, APS Mathura also celebrated the day with lot of zeal and enthusiasm.
At the onset, morning assembly started with the prayer of Goddess Saraswati ‘Hey Shardey Maaa…’. Thereafter Mrs Nandini Chaturvedi, TGT Hindi elaborated upon the importance of the day also stating that the school is the temple of Goddess Saraswati, symbolic of Knowledge, so we should be doing good deeds and abstain from wrong acts.
Further, Mr MG Saraswat, TGT Maths conducted ‘Pooja’ along with the Coordinators and a group of students to pay sacred offerings to Goddess Saraswati and prayed for the growth and development of the institution.

The students,staff and management of APS, Mathura bade farewell to the outgoing students of class XII on 31st January,2019.The day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers and to reminisce joyous moments. Brig.H.S. Pilkhwal,the Chairman, APS Mathura was the Chief Guest of the occasion.The program began with the welcome song followed by lighting of the lamp.
The venue was set ablaze with cultural program followed with a ramp walk, self introduction,talent and Question Round for Master and Miss APS,Mtr.
Satvik of class XII Sc. Was adjudged Master APS,Mtr whereas Bidisha Boral of class XII Humanities was declared Miss APS,Mtr.The cultural program showcased the multiple talents of class XI students.
The highlight of the event was ‘Citation Ceremony’ the thought processed by the Honorable Principal.It was being given to every student of class XII and also the Honorable Chairman extended priceless words to each student conveying them good wishes for their future. Thereafter, the chief guest delievered an inspiring speech and given a word of advice to class XII students for their bright career.
The program ended with the vote of thanks proposed by Riya Dusad,the Head Girl. Thereafter class XII students took leave from their teachers and friends with a heavy heart.
The DISTRICT LEVEL INTER SCHOOL QUIZ COMPETITION was organized by HANUMAN PRASAD DHANUKA SARASWATI BALIKA VIDYA MANDIR celebrating GIRLS’ DAY on 24th January,2019.Total 9 schools participated in the competition wherein three students of APS Mathura i.e. Stanley Roy of class VIII E, Arpita Padhi and Simran Choubey of class VIII G participated and secured Ist position with a cash prize of Rs.3100 and a trophy. The participants were prepared by the computer teachers, Mr. Vikram Sethi and Mr. Amit Bansal. It’s a matter of pride for the school and the winners were honored on the stage by the Chairman, Brig. H.S. Pilkhwal and the Principal of the School on 26th January,2019.
A proud moment when the constitution of India came into existence is celebrated as Indian Republic Day every year on 26th January with joy and great enthusiasm.
Republic Day was celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur at APS Mathura on 26th January,2019. The occasion was graced by Brig. H.S. Pilkhwal,the Chairman, APS Mtr.The celebration began with the hoisting of the Indian flag followed by the National Anthem. The events that followed, included melodious patriotic Hindi songs and a mesmerising dance by the students. Deborah Faith Samuel of class XI Sc. Delievered a speech elaborating the significance of the day and also a patriotic poem was presented by Rupali of class XI reminding the students the sacrificies made by our great freedom fighters. Further the Chief Guest put forward a word of advice to all the students.The program ended with tree plantation and the sweet distribution.
The Jaipur Literary Festival is an annual festival which takes place in the Indian city of Jaipur each January.Nineteen students of APS Mathura with three teachers visited Jaipur Literary Festival on 25th January,2019.It was organized at Diggi Palace Hotel Jaipur, Rajasthan wherein renowned writers,thinkers,humanitarians, politicians, business readers,sports people and entertainers come on one stage to champion the freedom to express and engage in thoughtful debate and dialogue.
Students attended the sessions with full enthusiasm and zeal.The highlights of the day were Talk and chat show of Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi.Further the students also attended the session of Shri Ashok Chakradhar and History of Rajasthan.
The main objective was intended to expose students with Literature World Fraternity and to enable them to interact with various writers and thinkers.
BRIG. H.S. PILKHWAL joined his duty in Mathura as Chief Engineer Head Qtr 1 Corps on 21st January,2019.Thereafter he took over the charge as the Chairman of APS Mathura Cantt.It was a matter of pride and honour when Sir visited the institution’ on 22nd Jan,2019.The Principal made him familiar with the premises, ambience and infrastructure of the institution.Sir was introduced to the staff and interacted with the students. We look forward to shape up the institution and cooperate as per the worthy words of wisdom of the Honorable Chairman.
