GREAT CHRISTMAS AND NEW Year CELEBRATION

 

 

On 22nd Dec ’17 Christmas Day and New Year was celebrated with great enthusiasm, lively spirit and joy in every heart at APS, Mathura campus. The initiation of the thought was done by the Principal. Each class was to arrange for the Christmas feast in their own classrooms. A group of students sang few Christmas Carols on the occasion. The classes were very well decorated according to the theme. Under the direction of the respective class teachers, the food items were arranged for the party. Ranging from south Indian dishes to dhokla from Gujrat, panipuri to Bengali rasgulla and Rajasthani dal bati , cake and pastries were the temptations at the party. A panel of 9 judges was there to adjudge the best out of all. There were three groups IV & V, VI toVIII, IX to XI. The class teachers of the winning classes were felicitated by the Principal in the assembly. The result of the same is as follow:

There was also a surprise element, Santa Claus came and gave chocolates to students. All enjoyed the day very much.

 

INTER- HOUSE G.K. QUIZ COMPETITION

 

The pursuit of knowledge is never ending. The day we stop seeking knowledge is the day we stop growing.

Keeping this view, the school organized an inter-house G.K. Quiz Competition for Primary classes on 15th Dec, 2017. Total 12 students participated in the competition i.e. three from each house. Mr. Anil Saxena with Mr. Suprio Basak and Mrs. Seema Arora, the Primary teachers, conducted the quiz in a very interacted way. The fervent participants in each house gave a tough battle to each other. The participants had to go through mind blogging rounds. It was an informative and knowledge- enriching competition for the participants along with the audience. The students displayed ecstatic spirit and enjoyed the quiz to the fullest.

The competition was judged by Mrs. Mohini Katara, the Primary Coordinator and the result of the same is as follow:

MAGAZINE COVER DESIGNING COMPETITION

The saying that “A BOOK IS JUDGED BY ITS COVER” goes far too long.

It is believed that today’s students later become tomorrow’s trend setter. They have new ideas, modern thoughts and vibrant expressions and a good change is always acceptable.

Keeping this view, the school magazine cover designing competition was conducted on 12th Dec, 2017 for both junior and senior students. The theme of the competition was ‘Education’ and total 62 students participated in the same. Brilliant ideas were depicted by all the participants showcasing an ultimate blend of creativity and ideation.
